Fly Fishing

The fly fishing is excellent throughout the entire Big Lost Drainage, with numerous streams and very little fishing pressure. There is superb fishing in the surrounding area offering a great
angling experience for the novice or expert. We are avid fly fisherman and have a vast local knowledge of current fishing conditions. The various tributaries of the Big Lost River are within a short driving distance. The cabins themselves sit right on the North Fork of the Big Lost river and the East Fork of the Big Lost River is a 5 minute drive. In addition to the many rivers are many high mountain lakes filled with wild Cutthroat Trout.

Farther down the Big Lost River lies the Mackay Reservoir with numerous world class spring creeks as well as the amazing lower Big Lost River near Mackey Idaho. On the Sun Valley side of the pass is the Big Wood River as well as close proximity to other famous waters like Silver Creek.
